Rowing Machine in the Fitness Center

Brought forward by Monica Fredrickson, the plan is for the Fitness Center to acquire a rowing machine. As of right now, the Fitness Center has only 3 types of cardio equipment (treadmills, bikes, and ellipticals). All of the current cardio equipment is heavily used, especially during the peak hours of the Fitness Center. A rowing machine would give students another option for a low-impact cardio exercise. This would greatly benefit the ERAU Crew Team as well as all students who utilize the Fitness Center.

Net around the O'Connor Practice Field

Due to the fact the whole Village Parking Lot is now paved, students have more flexibility to park where they need. However, there is a practice field that has low fences next to multiple parking spaces in the Village Parking Lot. This could lead to practice balls from that field hitting vehicles. The plan is to place netting on top of the current fences to reduce the chance of an errant ball hitting a vehicle.

SGA 100%

The purpose of this project is to make the students aware of what SGA is, and what they do. This project will go on throughout the year, and our first step is to make the students involved by creating a big suggestion board where students can provide SGA with ideas or ask questions. The name of this project, SGA 100%, comes from our goal which is to make 100% of the students aware of what SGA is, and what they do!

Eagle's Parking

The idea with this project is to put the parking situation at ERAU to a perspective of other schools in Florida. How bad is our situation compared to others? What do we pay compare to students at UCF, UF or USF? Students at ERAU will be recorded and they will provide us with their issues and concerns about the parking at ERAU. We will use the video to compare them to neighboring universities.

The idea is to find a solution to extend ATC tutoring hours into the evening so students can better fit tutoring into their schedules. The COA only houses a weather and aviation lab. The idea is to create an area concentrated on ATC where students could go for extra study time and help.
