If your Student Government is struggling, you're not alone. The vast majority of SGs nationwide fight to be relevant to their fellow students and respected by administrators.
You can't become one of the few "super SGs" overnight, but through ASGA's resources, research, training conferences, and consulting, you can take steps right now to improve your organization.

1. Determine Your Purpose. Figure out what role your SG should be taking on campus. If you're just an "activities board" that produces campus events and parties, ASGA can help you evolve into an organization that represents students and champions their issues, one of SG's most important responsibilities.
2. Improve Voter Turnout. ASGA can help you improve your election turnout dramatically. If you don't yet have elections, we can provide you with the knowledge and resources to run them efficiently.
3. Firm Up Infrastructure. ASGA can help you improve your "infrastructure" (meaning your constitution and bylaws and other documentation critical to the long-term stability of your group).
